How the budget works
Add expense and income lines with a category and an amount. GajiWise subtracts them from the net pay calculated on the salary page and shows what is left, or how far short the month is.
Categories and charts
Housing, food, transport, utilities, family, education, insurance, lifestyle, savings, and other, plus income categories for freelance, side jobs, rental, and family support. Charts cover where spending goes, this month's flow, a needs / wants / savings split, and leftover across the last six months. An emergency fund readout uses this month's expenses (not the savings line) to show 3-month and 6-month targets, months of cover from cash you enter, and how much is left to reach six months.
